Chris Thornsberry is the Associate Director of Adult Ministries, journeying full time with young adults and singles over 40 by leading small groups, Bible studies, and creating spiritual/social communities where people can grow closer to God. He also serves on the leadership staff to the Later@St. Luke's multi-cultural worship service by participating in preaching, teaching, and serving communion. Chris is a 2002 graduate of Campbellsville University with a degree in Educational Ministries and is currently studying for his Masters degree.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Chris has served on the Campus Ministry staff at Kent State University and the University of Akron. Past positions include leadership as an Associate Pastor in Cleveland, Ohio and as a Student Pastor in Greencastle, Indiana. He is married and has one son. He and his family are dedicated to serving the church of Indianapolis by being involved in a variety of non-profit organizations including the Pastor’s Group with Loving Accurately Ministries. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family and friends, hang out in Broad Ripple coffee shops, watch baseball, walk on the Monon Trail. And yes, the movie "Field of Dreams" makes him cry.
