Marsha's love of children and families prompted her first career focus as an elementary school teacher. Following the completion of a Master's in Education, Marsha responded to a community need for quality early childhood programs by building a full-day preschool/kindergarten in 1984, and a second center in Noblesville in 1999, serving three hundred families yearly.
Out of those years of "journeying" with families and life experiences, Marsha realized God's call to pastoral ministry and began studies at Christian Theological Seminary and part-time hospital chaplaincy. She joined the St. Luke's staff part-time in 2002 and was appointed as a full-time Associate Pastor in 2005. She is a member of the Lead, Worship, Program, Care, and Membership Teams.
Besides all other clergy responsibilities, Marsha offers pastoral counseling and spiritual direction and has developed the St. Luke's Grief Ministry (H.U.G.S), including the HOPE memorial garden for parents who have lost babies.
She provides clergy support to the Taize Contemplative Worship services, Stephen's Ministry, Pilgrimage Healing Partners, Congregational Prayer Team, and the United Methodist Women. Marsha was ordained by the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2009. She is currently working toward her Doctorate in Ministry at CTS.
Marsha and her husband, Gregg, have three adult children and two young grandsons.
