“Bottlemania” Book Study

What do we actually know about it? What are the costs to the underground water systems? These questions and many more will be part of the discussion on four Thursdays, August 6-27, 7-8:30PM in the Parlor, led by Sharon Chambers. Registration required, no fee. Request book at time of registration.

Green Gratitude Award
MAY AWARD—The Green Ministry is indebted to Don Weiser for his willingness to collect the paper in the new paper recycling containers in all the classrooms and cart it out to the Abitibi bins. Be sure to fill up those paper recycling boxes so Don will have something to collect. You can bring your newspapers, catalogs, junk mail and office paper from home to recycle in the big green and yellow Abitibi bins found at the east driveway of our campus.
JUNE AWARD—The Green Ministry applauds all those who are using reusable mugs on Sunday mornings. Thank you for being an inspiration to others. Gratitude also goes to Jean Allen and her team – Julie Towle, Barry Hoffman and Tony Welch for setting out the mugs, washing them and putting them away every Sunday.
JULY AWARD—The Green Ministry extends thanks to all those who were willing to sponsor and plant trees for our spring NeighborWoods project. You sponsored 106 trees that are standing tall
and sprouting leaves along the west bank of the White River between 10th and New York Streets. You have made a lasting contribution to the health and wellbeing of the citizens of Indianapolis.
