Celtic Contemplative Experience
Leader: Connie Dillman, Betty Brandt, Carol Dennis, flautist
Meets: Wednesdays, May 7 and future 1st Wednesdays,
  6-6:30PM, N103/104

Join others who value a mid-week time for Celtic Daily Prayer readings, labyrinth walking, communion and silence. Find moments to go deeper during your busy week!

 

Contemplative Worship Taizé Style
Leader: Tim Moore
Meets: Every 3rd Sunday, 5-6pm, Main Sanctuary

No fee or reg.

Taizé is the city in southern France where a community formed after WWII to bring reconciliation to the world. The simple but profound worship experience they created consists of chants, scripture, prayer and silence. All are welcome to use this service to pray for peace and reconciliation in today’s world.

 

Wednesday AM Prayer Group
Leader: Rev. Marsha Hutchinson
Meets: Every Wednesday, 9-10am, Spiritual Life Center
No fee or registration

Have you ever wondered what happens to the prayer requests you leave on the pew card or the phone line? This dedicated group meets weekly to pray for every request. Their lives are richly blessed through this act of love and service. If you would like to join them, come any Wednesday morning or call Marsha at 846-3404 x415.

 

Evening On-Going Weekly Meditation Group
Leader: Merri Leffel
Meets: Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm, Spiritual Life Center.

No fee or reg.

Beginners and experienced meditators are welcome to join in 1/2 hour of discussion followed by 1/2 hour of Christian meditation. Find support for your practice, new ideas and a community of others who welcome silence. New members always welcome.

 

Drumming for Wholeness Circle
Leader: Dane McCullough
Meets: 4th Wednesday of each month, 6:30-7:30pm, Modular Building

No registration, donations appreciated

Drumming is an ancient and sacred practice that replicates your heartbeat and can become a meditation tool. The hour will consist of both structured and unstructured drumming time. Drums are provided. Bring your own if you have one. No prior experience is necessary.
