Caring Ministries

Member Care ministries of St. Luke's provides visitation, care and support for our members. To reach any of our care ministries, please contact Mary Katherine Schnitz, Director of Member Care.

Care Committee

This group of St. Luke's members and staff visit nursing homes and shut-ins on a regular basis. If you know of someone in a health care center who would like to receive a visit, fill out the care request form.

Need Prayer?

Complete our prayer request form, and our Prayer Group will lift up your specific concerns.

Pastor on Call

Pastors at St. Luke's, are on call for medical emergencies involving church members and their families. Please call 846-3404 and follow the directions to reach the pastor on call for that day.

Support Groups

Several types of support groups exist at St. Luke's to provide loving care, fellowship and advice for those in need. Find the group you're looking for under support groups or grief ministries.

St. Lukes's Needlecrafters

This group knits or crochets clothing and household items for people in need. Past recipients include Fletcher Place Christmas shopping program, the People's Burn Center, Knit for Kids, etc. New members always welcome. For info, contact Edie Huffman, 228-0496 or johnediehuffman@hotmail.com.

St. Luke's Prayer Shawl Ministry

This group knits or crochets prayer shawls which St. Luke's distributes as needed. New members are always welcome. For information, contact Mary Katherine Schnitz.

Please use our online membership form to update your email, address, phone or other information on the St. Luke's Membership files

The church database maintains photos which were taken during our last Photo Directory project.  If you missed the opportunity, we'd still like to include your photo in our database.  To do so you may either attach a portrait type photo to an email sent to Sylvia Forbes, or you may upload one when you complete an online membership form.
