Orchestra

It is truly an Amazing Grace to hear the St. Luke's Orchestra play on the third Sunday mornings of each month. Both amateur and professional musicians form this group, and new members are welcome. Rehearsals are held the Thursday evening prior to the third Sunday performance, from 7:15-9PM. Contact Director Bob Zehr.

New Orchestra CD Available

The St. Luke's Orchestra is pleased to present its second CD compilation of favorite anthems available for sale beginning September 19, 2010.  The album was recorded live at the May 2010 Orchestra concert and includes the popular arrangement of "Amazing Grace" featuring bagpipes, along with eleven other favorites.  CDs are available for $15 with all proceeds benefiting the music ministries of St. Luke's.  The CD will be available in the Oasis Bookstore and Gift Shop.

Side by Side Orchestra

The St. Luke's Orchestra is inviting student musicians to play next to an adult member of the Orchestra for the February 19, 2012 worship service. This opportunity is open to middle and high school students who participate in private lessons or school music groups. The music will be provided in advance of the Thursday, February 16, 2012 rehearsal. If you are interesting in participating, contact Margaret Spilker at msspilker@aol.com.
