Prayer & Meditation

The antidote to a life of stress and anxiety is the development of centering skills. Meditation, prayer, labyrinth walking, drumming and contemplative worship quiet the mind and relax the body allowing access to the God within.

Prayer Chapel

All are welcome to use the Prayer Chapel for silent meditation and prayer whenever the church is open. It can be found through a door to the left of the altar in Robertson Chapel or from an exterior door adjacent to the Columbarium in the front of the church. There are candles, prayer request cards and a Bible for your use. Also, there are two prayer journals on the altar. The loose leaf journal is for General Prayers. The black and brown journal, a gift from Jenny Godby, is specifically for Gratitudes. Please feel free to write in both journals as frequently as you wish. Holy Communion is available in the chapel every Sunday. The elements are consecrated and placed in the Prayer Chapel for all to include in their Sunday morning worship experience. Available from 9:15AM-12:30PM. Please enter in silence.
