Community Ministries
Community Ministries' mission is "to engage people to be transformed by God so that we love our neighbors unconditionally through bold, risk-taking ministry in our community."
The focus of St. Luke's Community Ministries is to help meet the needs of our neighbors for food, shelter, mentoring, and education. Volunteers push beyond ordinary service, joining together in support of local food pantries, community centers, schools and individual families and promoting racial harmony.
Community Ministries provides multiple opportunities for the adults, youth and children of St. Luke's to serve its neighbors in meaningful ways, on the adventurous front lines or in supportive roles. New ideas and volunteers are always welcome.
