School Partnerships

On the heels of our successful three-year partnership with IPS School 20 (which was closed at the end of the 2008-09 school year), St. Luke's has begun an exciting partnership with Fox Hill Elementary, a Washington Township school located just a few minutes from St. Luke's at 802 Fox Hill Drive. Sixty-two percent of the student body qualifies for the free or reduced lunch program, and 30% of Fox Hill students are English language learners. Volunteers are needed for tutoring, Peer Club, After-School Achievers, classroom helpers, library support, special events and other activities. Contact Tom Lange at tom.c.lange@gmail.com for more information.

Fox Hill /St. Luke’s Partnership

The Fox Hill Elementary School/St. Luke's Partnership continues to recruit volunteers and leaders to help. In-class volunteering, tutoring during and after-school, mentoring, event planning, grant writing, enrichment classes and lots of other opportunities for volunteers. For the full list of opportunities, click here

Please let us know your interest by filling out our online volunteer form.  If you prefer to print out the form and mail it, you may download a copy.

The school system requires that background checks be completed for any volunteer.  Download the background check form and either provide to the school office or mail it to Tom Lange along with your volunteer form.

The entire Fox Hill school community wants to thank the St. Luke's congregation and volunteers for being part of our world. You have helped us in so many ways and brightened the lives of our students. Fox Hill has a new art teacher, Ms. Katie Jaskowiak. Every spring, Ms. Jaskowiak creates a school mural in which every student contributes a piece of art work. This year's mural was called The World Avenue. The 4th and 5th graders made world and Indianapolis landmarks; the 3rd graders created different forms of transportation; the 2nd graders created people; the 1st graders supplied trees; and our kindergartners made clouds, mountains and grass. We wanted to include a replica of St. Luke's because we consider all of you to be part of our family.
