    Groups, Classes & Events

Small groups share life, grow in faith and serve together. Groups meet all over Indy. Whether you’re single, married, a parent, newly out of school or finishing up your degree – whoever you are, whatever your story, there is a group for you! Check out these three stories to get a taste of what Small Group life is like. Then contact Mindie Moore so you can find YOUR group!

Our noisy small group is made up of families with young kids who live in and near Broad Ripple. Even our kids value their own little small group deeply. We have supported each other through job loss, job searches, health scares, births of two babies, and parenting struggles. We are able to lift each other up in prayer, have thoughtful and challenging conversations as we wrestle with our faith.

    • ROB KAPAKU, DOWNTOWN YOUNG PROFESSIONALS SMALL GROUP CO-LEADER: We are 20s and 30s young professionals who live in or near downtown Indianapolis. Our small group has done everything from formal book studies to informal dinners just to catch up. We enjoy sharing with and supporting each other through all of life’s hectic but exciting adventures!

    • VERONICA GUMPL, SUNDAY EVENING SMALL GROUP LEADER: Our small group is made up of singles and couples in their 20s and 30s from all over. Our focus is two fold; building community with one another and strengthening our relationships with God. We enjoy some social time outside of our structured small group time as well!

    • SEVEN PRINCIPLES OF MAKING MARRIAGE WORK, Aug. 30 – Oct. 11 • Modge • (Rev. Eric & Meagan Burton-Krieger)
Straightforward yet profound, these seven principles teach partners new approaches for resolving conflicts, creating new common ground and achieving greater levels of intimacy. We’ll look at strategies and resources to help couples collaborate more effectively to resolve problems, whether dealing with sex, money, religion, work, family or anything else. It’s helpful if both partners attend. You can share one book per couple.
