We offer a variety of options on Sunday mornings to help youth connect with their age group. Our earlier programming attracts a larger group of students, so it is the high-energy option. For those who prefer a quieter and more reflective (but still fun) time on Sunday mornings, our 11AM options might be the choice.

Students engage through small groups with an intensive focus on what it means to live a life of faith. we encourage students who are past the 7th Grade who have not been through this program of study and spiritual discipline to attend and even play a leadership role. The process will lead to membership at St. Luke’s for many of these young people.

    9th-12th Grade

    9:30AM - 10:30AM

At 9:30AM, 9th-12th grade students meet in The Lodge, the building located at the northeast corner of the parking lot. Our Sunday Mornings aren’t a boring sit and listen time! They are engaging and exciting times to be at St. Luke’s.

We HAVE FUN: We have fun by playing large group and upfront games every week that get us warmed up and awake! It could be anything from Birdie on A Perch, Minute To Win it or the Sword of Destiny!

We WORSHIP: We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people. That’s why we have a phenomenal band filled with leaders and students who craft powerful experiences to help us connect with God in new and meaningful ways.

We EXPLORE AND LEARN: We use our STEPs curriculum format thinking about our Spiritual practices and growing our spiritual roots. This year, we’ll engage the topic of “I Am Becoming” and what God continuously call us to be throughout Scripture. We’ll look to the Bible, YouTube clips, Authors, Musicians and even Taylor Swift.

We GROUP UP: We aren’t designed to do this alone. We know we are better together, and the relationships that we surround ourselves with have the power to transform our lives. That is why every high school student is put into a smaller community based on their grade with a handful of adult leaders and called a breakout group.

    11:00 Service

We encourage all of our high school students to go to the 11:00 service to experience worship with each other and with their families.

We will have a few small group opportunities after the service so that they can discuss the message. This helps our students connect to “big church” and discuss the same things their families are discussing.
