Family
At St. Luke's we believe and affirm that, just as God has designed each individual to be unique, every family is unique as well. Families come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and cultures--our goal is to support your family, whatever it may look like. Whether it's small groups for couples, fellowship groups and classes for parents, or worship experiences for the entire family, we hope you'll find a place to connect!

In fall 2011, we launched a new ministry for couples in our church. Our mission is to help couples thrive in their relationships, and one of the best ways to do that is to encourage couples be in community with other couples. There are a variety of ways to get connected; read about our current program offerings, or email us at coupleslife@stlukesumc.com if you have additional questions or would like to inquire about small group offerings.
Family Worship
Family Fuel is where kids invite their parents to worship with them. We learn about virtues, which are those things that God is doing in us to help change the world. Join us the first Sunday of the month in Robert Chapel at 10:45AM.
Family Fuel has a blog titled "Fuel 2 Go" where reflections will be periodically posted. If you have young children and are trying to balance work, family, and church and struggle with keeping God in the center of it all, our hope is that it you’ll find some encouragement in these thoughts. Read the reflections and subscribe to receive email or RSS updates so you'll automatically be notified when a new thought has been posted.
Family Fellowship Night
The third Sunday of every month is hereby decreed Family Fellowship Night at St. Luke’s! Join other families of our church at 5PM for a pizza dinner, followed by “Mission Possible Kids” for elementary-aged children, and parenting study groups for adults (childcare will be provided for children aged kindergarten and under). The parent study topic for February-May 2012 will be KidUnique by Dan Webster. Come connect with other families and take time with other parents to reflect on the challenges and joys of parenthood. Contact Rev. David Williamson for more information.
