Music

When people are asked why they come to St. Luke's, music is one of the top reasons.

St. Luke's Music Ministries works to glorify God in worship and to minister to the congregation and community in ways that provide for spiritual growth, as well as enjoyment of music and other performing arts. With the Chancel Choir, Joyful Sound, New Song, the St. Luke's Orchestra, Wesleyan Ringer, Joyful Rhythms, and children's ensembles, St. Luke's music ministries provide an outlet for over 400 people to share their musical gifts and provide spiritual inspiration to the congregation while being inspired themselves.

The Sanctuary at St. Luke's is a vibrant and active artistic venue. From large-scale productions such as "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," to New York opera star Angela Brown, to the annual Indianapolis Children's Choir Christmas Concert, or St. Luke's own Live Nativity (complete with real donkeys, sheep and camel!), St. Luke's has become known in the community for its outstanding events.
