Stephen Ministry Training

Tuesday, August 26 6:00 PM
North Indy Campus

Are you a compassionate listener? Do you feel called to walk alongside others during life’s difficult seasons? If so, we invite you to consider becoming a Stephen Minister at St. Luke’s.

What is a Stephen Minister? Stephen Ministers are trained laypeople who offer one-to-one, Christ-centered care to individuals who are hurting. Whether someone is grieving, going through a major life transition or simply in need of a caring presence, Stephen Ministers are there to listen, pray, and support—confidentially and without judgment.

Training Schedule:

Our next training session runs August 26 – November 25.

What to Expect:

Attend weekly training sessions that equip you with practical, faith-based caregiving skills. Grow personally as you deepen your understanding of compassion, empathy and service. Join a supportive team that meets twice monthly for encouragement, prayer and continued learning. Build lasting relationships through the care you give and the community you serve alongside.
