Director of Contemporary Worship
St. Luke’s UMC is seeking a Director of Contemporary Worship and the Arts to help lead our dynamic worship ministry. This is a significant role in one of the largest United Methodist congregations in the US with 6000 members. We offer two contemporary worship services each week with an average attendance of over 600 people plus many who watch online. Founded in 1954, St. Luke's has three traditional services a Sunday and launched a contemporary service in 2014 followed by a second service in 2016. That year we raised over $400,000 to renovate and update the technology in our 400 seat chapel to be a dedicated space for contemporary worship. We pride ourselves on being an open congregation and our contemporary services are our most diverse in terms of age, ethnicity, economic background and sexual orientation. We're seeking an experienced leader who can continue to grow our ministry and lead us into the future. Direct applications, resumes, cover letters, and any audio/video you may wish to share to . If you have questions, please contact Kim Davis, chair of the search committee.
