Streets to Home Indy

St. Luke's is taking part in a powerful community effort called Streets to Home Indy. This bold partnership — between the City of Indianapolis, the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP), and faith, corporate, and philanthropic partners — seeks to end chronic homelessness by providing permanent housing and support services for 350 of our most vulnerable neighbors by the end of summer 2026. Phase 1's budget comes entirely from local sources including philanthropic, corporate, faith communities, and individuals. We are proud to share that St. Luke's has raised over $80,000 (and counting) towards these efforts!

St. Luke's individuals, families and groups have also been busy putting together move-in apartment kits for the Streets to Home Indy initiative. Kits will continue to be a huge need as encampments are cleared and housing is secured for our unsheltered homeless neighbors.

St. Luke's continues to play a key role working with other churches and synagogues in the firm belief that homelessness is solvable, not inevitable, when we act together.
