I Love My City

2026 dates are April 24th and 25th

We believe that God created all of us on purpose and for a purpose to be difference-makers in the world by using our unique gifts to impact others. Our days of service will take place on Friday, April 24, at Midtown and Saturday, April 25, at our North Indy Campus and various locations throughout the city for I Love My City 2026.

Our service projects are designed to show our love for our city and neighbors in need. Leading up to the event, we'll be collecting items to support vulnerable youth in our community. Plus, we're bringing back the blood drive. No matter your age or ability, there are opportunities to serve, collect, and give!

Freedom School

2026 dates are June 15th - July 22nd

We are embarking on our 4th year of being a host site for CDF Freedom Schools®, especially targeting our own Washington Township students. CDF Freedom Schools© are summer programs designed to increase literacy, self-esteem, socio-emotional skills, and a love of learning for children in elementary school. We disrupt the summer learning slide by keeping scholars engaged and stimulated. We also employ young-adult teachers who serve as role models and mentors. 

We are actively seeking volunteers of all backgrounds, interests, and availability to help bring this program to life. Whether you have a passion for working with children or prefer to help behind the scenes, there's a place for everyone. You have the power to make a positive impact with our scholars this summer!

Rummage for a Reason

2026 Dates are May 8th and 9th

The incredible response for donations at last year’s fall sale blew our minds to say the least! We pray that this will be the case for the spring sale!

For a moment, let’s look at how this sale serves people in our congregation and our community. This sale provides a place where anyone can reasonably find clothing for newborns to growing children and even for job interviews. This is a sale for those who are starting over and need everything. This is a sale that serves everyone in need!

Additionally the proceeds of the Rummage for a Reason Sale support:

• Dove Recovery House for Women. A women's addiction recovery home.
• Indiana UMC Children's Home. A safe home for children who have suffered trauma from various means.
• Lucille Raines Residence. An addiction recovery center.
• United Women in Faith Missions all around the world.

In order for this sale to be successful, we need A LOT OF VOLUNTEERS!! Please consider spending a few hours (or more) having fun while setting up or running the sale.

ALL donations should be dropped off at the Great Hall by Door 6:

• Wed. May 6 - 9AM to 7 PM
• Thurs. May 7 – 9AM to 7PM
• Friday, May 8 – 9AM to 12PM

Shop Member's Sale Friday, May 8th from 5 PM - 8:30 PM. Public Sale Saturday, May 9th from 7:45 AM - 5 PM.
